I'm currently changing the turbo (some old big holset) for Garrett dual ball bearing GT35R. Holset reached full boost at 6400 RPM. When i raised ignition cut to 8000 RPM in order to get good performance crankshaft bearings failed.madmurdoch wrote:Very Very Impresive,
Is the Alfa reliable running that kind of Bhp?
Before that engine ran without any problems for 10 000 kms with ignition cut set to 7500 RPM.
GT35R will reach full boost at around 4800 RPM so i can set ignition
cut back to 7500 RPM.
