Uno Wiper Motor Wiring

Hi folks,

I am fitting the single wiper motor off an Uno to my race car. Unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram for the motor.

Below is a picture of the wiper motor. The Fiat part number is 0007799816.
Denso TGE 426 DX 12v is on the motor


Out of the 5 pins I know there is a positive, a high and low speed, a ground and a park
but I don’t know the order. Anybody be able to help me?

Sorry but even with a wiring diagram you could not easily wire this up - on its own.

It is a layout no doubt common to other models that I have studied eg: Strada 130TC. The OE wiring diagram just does not show the switching options in the control unit on the steering column, only the cable colors. So it's impossible to know what terminals are supposed to be +ve and what is -ve etc. And if you get them wrong it will no doubt burn out.

You need to get the control stalk and connect to the motor with the OE wiring harness (and OE plugs) to figure this one out. Once you lose the OE connector plugs it's near impossible.

Hi,

I manged to find a picture of the wiper motor with the plug attached and I checked the wiring colors from the haynes uno wiring diagram that I found online.
Page 274 of the Pdf. Item marked 47 is the wiper motor.

Item 4 is the earth in the engine bay. Going from diagram the top number N is an earth.
Black is the earth. Thus the top terminal is the earth and all the rest are lives.

N= Black
AG = Light Blue/Yellow
A = Light Blue
AR = Light Blue/ Red
A/N = Light Blue/Black
