Firstly I need to take care of all formalities, vehicle technical inspection and registration. Also I have to eliminate 'childhood diseases' :)
I'll do dyno next year probably and for now I will check surrounding roads ;)

Looking pristine Marek, a great job. You just need to find a few nice days to drive it before winter arrives.
Great looking seats too.

Re: 1983 Pininfarina Europa Spider
Well done Marek!
What's the gauge under the left side of the dashboard for?
If I see it correctly you have a filter on the crank case breather located next to your air box. I think it will foul your pristine engine bay with greasy droplets so I would advise to route it to a catch tank or to the air box.
Enjoy until winter,
Charles

Re: 1983 Pininfarina Europa Spider
Thank you all for your suggestions and hints.
There is still a lot to be done but before the next season might be able to prepare the vehicle.
Charles, forgive me please, but did not have time to answer before.
Ultimately, I'm going to install catch tank.
Below the fuse box is located indicator oil temperature.
There will be also installed Heater Fan Switch and Revotec Fan Override Switch.
Below I have attached photos of the panel to which will be attached additional equipment.

No Problem Marek; not all of us are online all of the time.
That's a very neat panel for your oil temperature gauge and switches.

Charles

Are you start up your GC engine dear Marek ? How it works ?
Dashboard with leather, similar than W140 S600 ;)
Your car looks like a good sample of "sleeper", I really like it.

Re: 1983 Pininfarina Europa Spider
Hello Marek,
It's great to see that you've been to the rolling road. I couldn't wait to see the results, especially as our engines are virtually identical except you have a pair of 44 IDFs and I've a single 32/36 DGV Weber.
Funnily enough I asked Guy recently if I'd get much more power by fitting IDF's and he didn't think it'd make a big difference. I was sceptical as I assumed they'd give around an extra 10-12 bhp. So now I see you have around 5 bhp more, it's almost as if Guy knows what he's talking about as shown below!
Of course there may be slight variations in the 2 rolling roads, but it looks like you visited a very professional company (as did I in the end) so I think the comparison is fair. Of course power graphs don't tell the whole story, I imagine your car will have far better throttle response and of course it is bound to sound great with the intake roar coming from your IDFs. Also, hopefully the carb's have been set up well so I imagine it should drive very well now, but of course you'll have to wait until the Spring to fully enjoy your car.
I'm now toying with having a slightly bigger exhaust cam which will hopefully make the engine even more lively at higher revs - the game never ends!
Thanks again for the post Marek,
Regards, Phil
