Camshaft for modified Lancia 2L 8v Dedra turbo?

Post by Ozze »

Hi Guy

I have got my car up and running now, been in touch with you before regarding my build up of the new engine. And also running your valve springs. But anyway I'm looking for new cams to give me more power. The intended use is street/daily driver so nothing too aggressive.

Would std 2.0ie cams be a good choice? I have a set of those laying around.

A quick spec of the engine
8.1:1 CR
Ported head
forged and balanced internals
Custom exhaust manifold
Portmatched Intake with larger throttlebody
Lotus chargecooler setup
Tripple valve springs
Garret T34 Rollerbearing turbo (~400hp rated)
Revlimit is set to 7200
Motec M4 ECU

Mikael, hi

the 2 liter ie normally aspirated inlet cam only would be a very good choice - more lift. Leave the turbo ex cam alone.
