Fiat TC 1800, Abarth 068 cams, jetting please

Post by ace124 »

Gooday all,
Project number 2 is underway.
i have an 1756cc engine (10:1) standard header(bigger bore one) 2" straight thru exhaust, 43.5mm inlet valves, flowed head running twin Weber 45's, 36mm chokes, on short straight shot manifold. Longish ram tubes with ITG style filtration.
Ive decided to fit a set of Abarth 068 cams ive had sitting around for years....Can anyone help with setup of cams, and suggest suitable jetting for the 45's?

Any help would be appreciated...and would save me a lot of time!

Any guestimates on HP?

Thanks.

Time cams 110 deg, clearance 16/18 thou", chokes on 45s - 36mm, mains 140, air corrector 185, emulsion tube F16, idle jet 45f9, pump jet 45.

Power should be around 148-155 or higher at 7400rpm.

That's as close as I can give. Prove out by rolling road dyno beyond there.

Thanks for the promp respose Guy.
Would the jetting change much if i was to use a 2L block instead with similar compression?
