Hi Guys
Not sure if this is the right place on the forum to post this but here goes,
What size tyres are people using on their 13 inch wheels, the wheels I have are 13x7 front and 13x8 rear.
Much appreciated Steve.

Re: 13inch tyres
Steve,
I used 205x60x13 on 7 inch front and 8 inch rear on 131 with no problems for years.
Now I a using the same setup on 124 spider.
Just look on the manufacturers specs , some give you indications of safe width rang. I think that both Toyo and Falken do.

Re: 13inch tyres
Hi, thanks for the reply,
Did you use the same size tyre, 205-60-13 on both 7 and 8 inch rims?
Regards Steve

Re: 13inch tyres
Recommended rims for 205/60/13 vary from 5.5x13 to 7.5x13. Of course this is a question of taste, but in my opinion tyres like this deserve rims wich are at least 7 inches wide. Or preferably bit wider.
As long as your tyre machine has good air supply and the rims are clean and straight, it's just a matter of mounting a tyre and inflating it. The beads will jump on the place very easily and the setup is really safe too. Nothing too extreme so to speak.
I recently fitted 195/45/15 tyres to 8x15 Compomotive ML's.
Car owner asked for serious classic look. You can ask your self, do you really want to hide a such a beatiful wheel with excess rubber?
