Hello Guy

Engine looks and sounds great. What sort of power and torque do you expect? Will it be running on 45's in Micks Spider or will he use the 48 idfs? Ignoring the problems of fitting which would give the best results?

Power and torque absolutely no idea! Sorry. These are outside my dyno exp, big bore 1800s.

One is 45s and will stay on them, my idea - this one was virtually scratch-built by me. The other is starting on 48IDF and later going mech FI.

What is your choice of finish on the sump pan? Is it steel?

Yes, that's a GC big-wing item in steel and it's simply sprayed with aerosol Simoniz acrylic satin black. I don't believe plating on in-house fabricated things like that, just makes weld repairs more difficult.
