I'm into all Lancia rally cars and making models.
So for the next model project it will be to build a Lancia 037 in 1/10th scale.
This is available as a remote control car.
But I have taken everything out and will be making all the parts like the real car.
Wish me luck.
This may take some time.

I collected as much info as I could.

I then started cutting all the vents out in the rear bumper.

The model will be open , drivers door and rear cover and the front cover will come off.

thank you

What detailing!
Could you show us a picture of e.g. your hand or a cell phone next to it to give an impression of it's true size?

regards
Tom

This is so cool.

I'd also recommend to anyone to check out Pierre Scerri's 1/3 scale model of a Ferrari 312PB (fully working!).

that car - yes, indeed so and I am a great fan of anyone who can produce things like that and the impressive scale 037 around which this thread is centred - in any material.

While we're on the subject and just for interest here's a highly respected engineer in Sweden, I'm proud to say a GC client and a site member too along with Anders, his son:

Incredible work.

What's the material you're using for the body panels? Any heat forming involved?

I'm thinking of making a pod for housing the extra instruments on one of my Cinquecentos, in the central air vent. Space is very limited, and the work is just too complex and detailed for any sort of GRP/Carbon Fibre (at least, with the equipment I have access to).

Hello
The body you can buy from the shops.
But vacuum forming they use plastic.
A person on an internet auction site did my floor for me.
They can do most things but no under cuts and the thing you are using to get the shape needs to be able to take heat . ( like wood )
