To complete a build* if any kind soul has one it's not the same as the TC by the way, needs to be in good state ie not battered to 'sh*t' or all the splines worn out..

Please don't reply here, email me at:

* I do 'feel' for the people who buy 'engines' where half the fcuking parts are either wreckage or missing like this one I'm doing.

Thanks but I would not buy from either of those sources.

This site FWIW gets (something like) 1.5 million hits a month. I think that if some members were as good at reading as they are at posting (their own particular questions) a lot of folk searching for bits and pieces would be much happier.

There are websites for racing cars where you have to pay to advertise and it's very, very big business for the owners. Here it's free but I find the sales/wants turnover very disappointing considering the site's general popularity. In fact the most disappointing part of the site.

Thanks anyhow,

G

Thanks very much to Chris Patterson who just wrote me by email:

Guy,

MidWest-Bayless in Ohio has OE NOS ones listed on their website for $18.99.

Indeed they do - and I have just ordered some and it was a very enjoyable experience speaking first to Marnie and then Matt at Bayless. Very impressed with their business philosophy and ethics and I have suggested (because of nice experience with a basic order) that Matt consider putting a link to Bayless on this site.

If you ever were put off ordering from the USA from respected firms like that - because of distance - or other concern don't be. Bayless have buy-on-line but I just rang 'em up and got a super reception.
