Hello,

I have problems with identification my camshaft, installed in Fiat 1.3 SOHC, for which i want to know characteristics. Full lift of cam is around 10mm. In cam is two numbers 105 and 211 (maybe 214).
Have any idea which cam is this.

Best Regards!

Looks (from a distance) like a C&B (Columbo & Bariani) steel billet, they mark on the shaft in that number-stamped way but I don't have an actual listing for that one. Typically their codes commence with the inlet nominal lift ie: 10.5mm cam lift, clearance would typically be 16thou inlet and 20thou ex giving valve lift inlet of 10.1mm.

Set up inlet full lift at anything between 105 and 110 deg ATDC would be my recommendation.

Hello. Thanks for previous answer.

I will ask here about camshaft chosing. I decied to rebulid a Fiat 1.3 SOHC. I ask for opinion which camshaft will best fit in my engine.
I considering between:
Piper BP285; duration 288; lift 10,4mm
Piper BP300; duration 290; lift 11,18mm
C&B FT.103.280; duration 280/268; lift 10,3
C&B FT.114.300; duration 300/294; lift 11,4

My engine specification (limited by rules for rally competition):
Inlet valve 36mm; exhaust valve 31mm
Carburator Weber 32/32; venturis 22/22
CR around 11,5
1300 ccm SOHC

I don,t have much experience with camshaft chosing, soo i ask for some advice.

Best regards and thank you!

Peter

I think I'd go with the Piper BP 300.

Thanks for advice. Meantime I found manufacture catcams and ordered one cam. It is 290° with 10,7 mm valve lift. Will see how it works.
