Montecarlo dipstick dilemma

Hi Guy,
I'm have a bit of a problem sealing the dipstick tube into the block on my Montecarlo, and it's blowing some oil out. The issue is because I used a 131 block (at least I presume it is) when I rebuilt it. The threaded hole in this block is approximately 12mm, which is much smaller than the Monte block, and the dipstick tube is 10mm. The clearance seems a bit much to just use a sealant, but an adapter would have to be pretty thin. Could you recommend a solution please?
Thanks in advance,
Nick
