Windage tray in road use early Fiat TC?

Hello,
I am rebuilding my 1973 Fiat 124 1608cc that I have had for many years and feel that when well maintained, the stock engine setup is good for 150K to 200K miles of use. However, I am always open to beneficial modifications. I have read a lot about windage trays and it seems like adding one would be an upgrade to the oiling system.
In principle, is there any reason for not using a windage tray in a stock wet sump road use engine that I want to last at least 150K miles?
Thank you,
Steve
