Chevette HSR valve springs

Post by OCX440X »

Hello,

Does any one have any information on road spec Chevette HSR valve springs, i.e. length, diameter and strength or is there an alternative that can be fitted.

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm attempting to have it ready for the rally car show at Chatsworth Hall in two weeks time

thank you
Dave

The valvetrain architecture is from Fiat twincam (under licence) - you can use GC triples in that, not have to worry about all those, er 'odd' setups with all that packing-up etc in the original.

Thanks Guy,

I thought it strange myself that the springs had all gone sloppy.

I've also had a reply from Terry Cobbold from the Droop Snoot Group and apparently the springs are the same as a single cam slant four engine.

thank you
Dave
