Exhaust Size

HI Guy,

I spoke to you about my exhaust for my kit car when ordering some nice new gaskets and have sent them off now for template for the manifold. As I have had a rather expensive quote back for the exhaust I just wanted to check the size with you.

It is a 4 to 1 set up and have been offered a 2" pipe from the connector to back box with a 2"1/8 bore internally in the silencer. The silencer would be 2 foot long and 5 " in diameter. This is for a 2L engine. It would be packed as you recommended and have a 2" out let on the back.

Can you see any problems?
