Hi all,
I am trying to complete Fiat 131 Abarth Gr. IV replica, most of the welding work finished, I need 2.0l Fiat Twin Cam engine to use at this car. By the way I found one which has 132 DB 2AO engine code. I made some search at internet and discover that 132 DB 000 engine is used at Fiat 131 Volumetrico models.
there is a description about that engine is prepared by Russ from RPM Motors, as I understand it is converted to naturally aspirated unit there is no supercharger, seller told that it is about 170 - 180hp but need checking because it is dry stored for 15 years.
I think it will need new full set gasget, piston rings etc.
what I should do with this engine to get 170-180 hp at the rear wheels ? already there is no volumex supercharger with the engine.
I prefer naturally aspirated engine, which will be easier for me to find performance inlet manifold and double 40 Webber carbs.
waiting your opinions.
thank you
Ali

Re: Fiat 2.0l TC 132 DB 2AO Engine
Ali, hi
either of those engine codes will be fine, all the 131/132 8v 2 liter blocks are the same.To get the kind of bhp you want you need to go big valve StIII race.
