Hi I'm racing a Fiat uno with a 2,0 8v tc engine. at the moment it produces around 320 bhp, with ritmo 100tc stock cams. I know I need to change theese, but what am I to choose?
rpm area should be round 4000-7500, max output round 6000-6500
running a GT3076R garret turbo (rated to 450 bhp)
Head has undergone some prep by a friend of mine.
Intake has been changed
Ex manifold is made by Ravenz in denmark, and it should be able to flow what I need.
hoping for an output round 400 or maybe even max out the turbo. I probobaly lack some information to ask this question. what do you want to know?

From what i have read (i am also building a turbocharged 2L TC) a turbocharged engine runs best with rather mild cams, with moderate (little?) overlap.
I would go for adjustable camwheels with the 100S cams, and try to find the best setup on a dyno.
Perhaps there are some cams with higher lift that would gain some power?
Btw, what fuel/ignition system do you use, and how much boost are you running for 320bhp?

Re: TC 2,0 8v cams
I would go for a different cam in the exhaust than the intake. 037s had very big differences in tdc lifts and max lifts between inlet and exhaust. I would go for both 280 degrees in and ex, 11mm max lift/3.5 tdc lift for inlet and 10.5 max lift/2,6 tdc lift for exhaust.

Re: TC 2,0 8v cams
That is good advice Vassilis,
I know for sure that, eg: the standard Lancia Integrale 16v can top 300bhp with a production standard ex cam and big inlet one.
