Specs of Peugeot 106 1.3 and 1.6 Rallye cams

Post by romilos »

Does anyone know the specs of Peugeot 106 1.3 and 1.6 (8V) Rallye cams?

I wanted to know...

1)duration (inlet and outlet) @0.05"
2)Lobe center angle
3)Degreed center line
4)Valve lift (intake-exhaust)

More critical for me are 2 and 3.

The only way you are going to get that info is to send examples of the actual cams to a cam manufacturer like Kent or Piper or to someone with a 'Cam Doctor' digital system and ask them to 'map' them.

To drag this topic up from the bowels of the forum....
I have got some basic specs on these cams on my website, the only problem is they are manufacturer figures and they have been measured at 0.7mm and not 0.05". I haven't got your points 2) and 3) though I'm afraid.
As you probably know, the 1.6 and 1.3 engines in the 106 Rallye share the same cam.

The GP A cam that was supplied to me from PTS some time ago was a Piper profile. I will have a look to see if i can dig out the Cam Number
