As far as i know all cars at this moment use hydraylic tappets.But this isn't a problem because if needed they can be changed with mechanical tappets.

You cannot change the 16V fire ones due to them being recessed.
Please look at a head to see what i mean.
Fiat have had huge problems with the 16V engine, turbo charging it. Many mods to the block have been done to stop the thin wall block from moving around. This is a clue to getting serious power from this engine.
Think we need to go back to the original question.
