More Horsepower for volumex engine

The next days i get a volumex charged engine for my pininfarina spider. Now i need some tipps to get more torque and more horsepower for fast street race. My Spider is converted with a 4-1 stainless steel exhaust system with only one straight thru muffler. My plan is changing cams on the intake side, a smaller pulley for the supercharger, a single weber DCOE carb ( 40 or 45mm ?venturi size ? Jet sizes ? ) More ideas or specific tipps ?
