Many will know that on the Fiat/Lancia models of 79.2mm stroke or longer a very worthwhile mod is to cut off the fuel lobe and plug it. Doing this avoids having to time it up to turn in phase with the crank - if it's set up out-of-phase the fuel lobe can hit no2 conrod with disastrous results.
Of course as any schoolboy knows there are always two ways (or more) of doing things..

I Did mine the GC way (instructions in Guy's Book)
Used an electric hand drill and a grub screw with a little loctite.

Guy
It comes in a 5ltr silver tin bought from a local motor-factor here in Spain, dont think its one of the enviromentally friendly variety!
Its good at Degreasing!
I had spent a good day cleaning all engine parts, it wasent until after that i realised the skin problem.
All healed now though.
