So the Fiat and I have had an excellent first season.

In late Sept we visited Mont Tremblant http://www.lecircuit.com/index.cfm in Quebec Canada for the first time.

124 going well

The Friday sessions were all went so I was learning the track, driving in the wet for the first time and dealing with a hungry pack of Porsche 944's. (Just for practice. Vintage cars rest of the weekend)
Sat I qualified with a sad 2:23, but by Sunday managed a 2:12 out pacing my fellow rookies.
The other 124 driver did a 2:09 so I have a lot of work to do as a driver and in car prep.

Race #2 on Sunday featured a nice little battle with a friend in his GT6.
The GT6 could out run me on the long straights, but I had him under braking and cornering which was terrific fun.
The Fiat's ability to hunt down cars is so gratifying because it allowed me to focus on my lines, be clean and not get frustrated by car that we're pulling away because I'd get them in the next complex.

Since the race I've learned I should have been shifting closer to 7500 and down shifting at 4500. Again I have a lot more learning to push the car effectively.

Accusump is going in shortly and I'll be moving the alternator over to the exhaust side.
Oil cooler and remote filter are waiting to be fitted.

I have to redo the exhaust system as it fell off. Excuse to go to a bigger pipe and ditch the muffler.

I will also try and address the body lean aspect of the car.
Not sure if the springs or shock are too tall.
Maybe a little camber?

Still for a minimally prepped car on 7 yr old RA1's it was a blast.
