81 Beta Zagato Black and Gold

This is 1 of a set of pictures for which the previous keeper ( who took rather good care of the car ) shot when he was selling the car.

Thought: I don't claim to be the owner, as things pass from our grasp, I feel happy to enjoy, maintain, improve as I am flying down the road in this very quiet cruzer. Perhaps a bit Daoisticly Lao Tsu ish.

Will take another photo once I get the car back from the shoppe!
Sorry about the file size, will go for the 40KB next time.

Best Wishes in 07!

Very nice car Paul. I would like to know what the difference is to the Zagato over ordinary models?

Thanks Guy, and Andy:

I just got it out of the shop after the engine rebuild.
(Was driven before me a few times)
Cheked all gauge along the way, Got it out on the highway,
doing about 3500 RPM
going down a hill and then....

Cockpit was in smoke, oil pressure gauge showed near 0.

I quickly hit the clutch, killed the engine, parked it off of the highway.

Once stopped I called the towing company and the rebulder.

It is back in the shoppe and should be fixed tomorrow.

Did not hear any funnny engine noises.

Am a bit worried about possible oil starvation during breakin.

I think he will need to up his warranty on this car.

HOpefully 2morrow will be driving and not with smoke cloud!

thanks! Paul
