I would like to present to you a Lancia Beta owned by my mechanic which located here in Cyprus. He specialises in Lancia and Honda vehicles. That might sound like a strange combination, but it's due to the fact that both brands were owned by the same representative back in the day.
The car is a Series 3 Beta coupe 1.6 which he purchased in 1998 (after owning another 2 previously). The engine was upgraded to a 2.0 liter in 2003.
The car has also been equipped with a couple of custom touches for aesthetic and functional purposes.
Here are the vehicle specs and some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Guy Croft intake manifold
Guy Croft timing belt
Guy Croft cam gears (awaiting fitment)
Guy Croft head gasket
Guy Croft head bolts
Alquatti stage 2 camshafts (awaiting fitment)
Volumex oil cooler
Drilled and slotted discs
Front and rear strut bars
Volt, oil temperature, oil pressure and air fuel ratio gauges
Brand new custom wire loom
Front bumper ram air intake duct
Pipercross intake box
2x Weber 40mm dual carburetors
Custom stainless steel exhaust system
Csc 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
Custom Bilstein B6 suspension
Compomotive RL1570 rims with custom offset for Beta
OMP steering wheel
Polyurethane bushes all round
Goodridge brake lines front and rear
Auto Ricambi high performance gear reduction starter
The vehicle suffered a minor fire 2 years ago. To avoid any future electrical issues, the vehicles entire electrical wiring was changed. The result is a constant, stable and reliable electrical system.
The vehicle is constantly being tweaked and upgraded.
My mechanic would like to thank Mr Croft for sharing his knowledge to the world and for the books and dvd's he has published over the years.
A Guy Croft complete engine is also a future option.
Thank you for reading,
