Well, as Guy told me that there is no space issue on his server and as the A110 was competing against many 124 and 131's "back then", here are a couple of pictures of my 1972 Alpine-Renault A110 1600 S. I bought it in 2000 in Belgium. That car underwent a long restauration process from 1985 till 1998. It was nearly finished when I bought it. It has a rally tuned 1596 cc engine with 135 dyno-tested HP. This engine is called the "160 CV engine". Probably 160 SAE HP...It is extremely fast. Faster than any of the 1600 S or even Gr IV I have ever driven. It has the direct steering rack, the big brakes and is otherwise completely stock, without the big wings and so on. I am attaching two ZIP files with some nice "noises" to listen too if you cannot sleep at night

the calipers seems to be the same with renault cordini and 130 tc.

Front calipers are Renault 16 and rear are Matra Bagheera. Four ladies...I also have a wife...

Thank you Herve for your shuts. The details with engine bay and front cooling system are important to me in order to transform 1300 in 1600.I saw already where is the alternator and water fill cap. Now I must cut from bottom fiberglass engine bay a plate (seems to be fixed with screws) to allow water pump pulley to be mounted and again cut from front nose a air hole for radiator duct. Excuse me if am too insistent but will be very useful if you send me another picture from inside of the car looking toward rear ‹Å“seats‚(to see the shape of the screws fixed cap) and another two directly from front of the car and from side of the nose at very low level (to understand how is the shape of air intake). It will be excellent if you¢ž¢ll use something to measure (a meter) to understand well the dimensions. One of my best friend has a Renault 12 Gordini …œex works‚ car with your engine, so called 160 HP (Is true they speak in SAE system). Very, very nervous. I imagine how is on Alpine wich have 250 kilos less!!!

My good friend Yves Boode owner of Historic Race Car in the US has a ralley Alpine A110 with the 1600cc conversion. Does it fly around the track.
