MODEL POST!

Fantastic - I was really hoping to see one of these cars on my site, thanks very much. And your English is much better than my Walloon/Flemish I can tell you, good for you for 'having a go'. Anyone from a 'foreign' country with the courage to write here in 'best English' on gets respect in my book.

Thanks again, it's grrrreat! If only we had sound too!!

GC

BTW I have a nice client in Spain, Servan Ferreiro who (I think) owns one of the Spanish 'Yellow Taxi' works Seats. We shall see. He very kindly sent me a book (in Jan 2004) by Pablo Gimeno Velledot about the 124 Seats and it was most interesting, along with some hard-copy photos.

The seat 124 scorpions [1800 twin cams] etc had a trick rear independent suspension and that car looks to have the rear well and truelly welded to the tarmac. I was wondering what rear suspension it is running?
A very nice example. Its light and powerful and would be a great sprint/rally car!!

Splendid car. Amazing how light is a 4 door saloon respect the 124 Abarth (it is true that is a convertible structure) with all it¢ž¢s aluminum and fiberglass parts. I particularly like the wheels (PLS or Gotti?)

Geert,

Great car, I love it that someone else out there is doing things with these cars. Lived in Europe for 3 years and haven't seen any except for Ladas in Eastern Europe!

Can you tell me about your wheel arches? Are they fibreglass or steel? Who made them for you? They are just what I need for my 124 in Sydney.

Also, what gearbox do you have in it?

Thanks
Greg
