Not a race car, not a Fiat, but none the less a very special "car" with a very special engine (fully water proofed gasoline engine)...
SOrry for the big pictures...

I like that. Nice Jeep MJ1 or should I say submarine? HaHa. I am a IHC Scout and Jeep fan. I have and have had a few 60's vintage Scouts that share the same drive train as your M1J T18 transfercase and T90 trans if they are the same as the Jeep built version.

yes, I guess submarine could do it...
I don´t think the gearbox is the same (not at all into to the numbers) as it is a Ford four speed gearbox without reduction gearing (no transfer box) only used in the M151 A1 and A2 (and as far as I know, also in a Israelien "jeep").
I also have a Willys M38A1, that might share gearboxes with the Austin. It has a three speed with a reduction transfer case.
Is the Scout the one with the Rolls Royce engine, or the one that looks a lot like an early Land Rover?

Hi,
The Scout was built by International Harverter (farm implement company) in the US. The Willys and Scout do share drive train parts like the gear box and transfer case. I added a picture on my Scout to my readers cars post.

Sune, hi
this is FUN!
But for some reason the right side of the photos of your Jeep is missing? Can you improve? I have no idea what the last photo is.
