To All,

I found a very good local high performance engine machine shop to do the work on the 1592 head. The head will not take the oversize I/E 43/37.5mm valves. So I am going to have oversize valves made the will fit. My Fiat 124 manual gives me the specs for the valves but the length of the stem. I have only been able to find one website the gives me the length of the stem 100.5mm. If you can please confirm that both valves stems are 100.5mm.
Secondly, everyone I have spoken to tells me that the 1608 cams have the same specs as the 1759 cams here in the US. But I found by just putting the 1608 cams on my 1759 w/o other modifications the car ran much better. I just found a website that has the following cam info: 1608 cams are 26/66 66/26 and the 1759 are 15/55 55/15. I plan on using the following cam configuration with my 1592head /1759 block. Cam intake 40/80 lift 10.3 & exhaust 66/26 lift 9.514. Hope to get a better power on the low RPM end if I go this way.
