As far as I know both Dedra integrale 8V turbo and 16V atmo have the same transmission as the Delta integrale except the rear differential which is an open type with a manual locking function. There are also differences in torque distribution between front and rear axle, but that differences exist between 8v and 16v Deltas, too.

Ah ok, so is the dedra gearbox/ transfer box like the delta 8v not 16v. The delta 16v will be the stronger parts for the job then ?

Not stronger, just different torque distribution. But lets hear someone to confirm this.

Is that so ? I was informed that the 8v delta had smaller bearings in the gearbox
