I picked thouse some time ago from http://www.abarth-gmr.be/new/

What do you want to do with it, build a replica into an existing car?
I could do some scans of drawings from books...

Ok, but you know that my english......., I'll try to explain.

In Spain the oficial rallye team "Seat Competici’‚³n" put one of these axles to two Seat 124, they was the ultimate oficial Seat 124 and the best evolution.

One car on the past.

On the present.

I'm thinking in put one of this axles to my Seat 124 like the old oficial cars.

This is the history.

I have made an independent rear axle for my rallycar. I have used hubs, brakes, axles(modified) from vw golf 3.
The upper mcperson mounts are fabricated from pieces of Opel Astra turrets, the upper mounts and bilstein strut inserts are also from this car. The strut casing is coilover KW rear vw golf 3(modified with welded hub mountings).
To hold the wheel in place i have used vw golf steering rack joints and attached them to the body right over the wishbone joint by steering rack joint from Fiat 131.
The diff is a modified FSO polonez rear axle, I did not wanted to use BMW diff as now i have 4,55 main ratio and Colotti duo block LSD which works very well. The rear diff case was shortened as well as the axles. The ends of the axled were modified to use golf axle joints.
I have not fitted yet any sway bar but it will be done soon.
The whole setup was not tested yet as I am repainting and fitting group 4 bodykit on my car(it had stradale kit ans stiff axle before). I would like to start the car before the snow falls as there will be a lot of fun to drive it sideways :).
I start with my car in rallyies i hope that the car will be a bit faster with this suspension.

I hope that this will help someone.

Hi Walezy

this is a very nice example for true engineering spirit, I like that!
Can you show us a picture of the whole car, please?

And yes, a BMW diff can be a candidate for such a conversion, also (if you want to stay within the Fiat-family) peaces from the Lancia Delta/Prisma Integrale rear suspension could be used.
The 131 seems to use the Lancia Montecarlo rear hubs.

Also waiting for the snow...

My idea is using a BMW e21 differential, but I didn't think in Integrale rear diff, it could be a very good option.

Can you explain us the difference in your car with the new suspension Walecy?

I would not use Lancia delta rear diff as it is not too strong and I had some problems with it on my delta integrale 16v(1,8 bar boost). There is also another problem with that diff, as far as I know there main ratio somewhere near to 3.2 so it makes it very long to use with non turbo engine.
I have not used the car yet as it is still beeing rebuilt. I will let you know when I make a test drive, although it will not be too soon.

The point of using VW parts was to get the spare parts easily and cheap and also reliability is very good(based on my experience). 4x100mm wheel studs pattern is not a problem for me.

I have some pictures of my car but in previous spec(stradale wings, stiff axle).

Pictures can be posted here by me as the owners let me to do it(o course only pictures with me and my car) i have also paid for the pictures.

Wow, nice car and well driven on the edge...

I mentioned the Integrale suspension mainly for the components like hubs etc. The BMW diff is certainly the ceaper option, because you can find them in each local scrapyard (I recently bought one for 160 Euros). Just ensure you take one from a 6-zylinder, the LSD internally is larger and more robust. Can be upgraded from original 25% lock to 45% or more.
