Clutch for Straight cut Gearbox

Hello

I,m looking for the correct clutch to fit in a Fiat TC 8v 1995cc engine with stock pistons, cams and valves,1.6 shaved and ported cilinder head, good 4-2-1 exhaust header, lightened flywheel and 44 IDF carbs. I have a 6 speed straight cut gearbox to mate with this engine for historic rally use. Some people tells me I don´t need a ceramic disc and reinforced pressure plate I´m thinking to use (if I find it) with the about 135hp of the engine, and must be use a stock pressure plate and disc?
The Hélix clutch GC offer seems to be too much for the needs of the engine?
Anyone have experience with this combination of engine-gearbox and clutch associated with it?

Thank you very much: C.R.

My advice (and I should know!) is go with the GC_Helix uprated organic clutch,

Hello Guy

It´s so much appreciate for me to have your time wasted with a humble mechanic-pilot...My economy isn´t buoyant but I will take note of your reccomendation and knowledge.

I´m yet installing roll cage, lsd and so. I hope this summer I can afford the invest to buy your clutch set. It include a good reléase bearing?

Another vote for helix from me.

NB: Clutches are rated for torque, not bhp.
