Does anybody know where the above can be purchased "Off the shelf" ?
I'm talking Wilwood, AP, Brembo etc, 4 pot 300mm or similar......you know what I mean.
I could and probably will end up making a set up from parts, but would like to save the time.
Any idea's ?

The bad news is NO - there is nothing off the shelf like this , but do you really need 300 mm discs ?
It sounds like a gr 4 project and an engine getting close to 200 bhp ?
I assume you are using 15 inch wheels as there is no way you can fit 300 discs and calipers into 13 or even 14 inch wheels.
If you can take something smaller and very effective contact: email@example.com. The WOA brakes conversion kit is a great street car solution. Also the man who runs midwest124.com can guide you with a view to something even stronger.
I'd gathered that based on internet research.
The lada brakes are generally ok for fast road use but the trouble I've been having with them on track is where the problems with this antiquated system are clearly shown. They work ok for around 2 hard efforts then thats it, they're completly gone. This system is completly rebuilt using high quality german made Mastersport parts and the pads are their Keramik compound aswell which is a high friction pad supposedly designed for fast road/rally use,
I don't think its really down to the size of them although in my experience with brakes is the bigger the better, simple science as the more leaverage you have the more stopping power your going to have. I actually think the problem is the heat dissipation due to the Lada system using solid 10 inch discs, they simply just can't get rid of the heat quickly enough causing them to actually set alight. Its a bit of a shame because I think the calipers are quite good you've twin 45mm pistons and a large 50mm pad which is similar to that of the aftermarket alloy 4 pots.
Anyway Steve Hinson very kindly donated an alloy Compbrake 4 pot setup which came off his Montecarlo which originally ran with 265mm discs and 50mm pads. I've already done one side and made quite a success of the conversion, although I had to move upto 288 mm discs to get the clearence between the caliper and the hub to be able to fabricate a suitable bracket. I'm also running with 16 inch wheels so clearence is never going to be any problems.

I looking at fitting some Brembo calipers off another vehicle onto the Capri.

here we can time-to-time purchase complete set of rotors+pads and calipers from scrapped Fiat coupe for very reasonable price...(around 200-300euro)

A fine looking kit and using proper road-spec Fiat OEM calipers, which is good in my book. Congrats on getting it on the market.
As I mentioned earlier in the thread Fellow brother S.H donated an old Compbrake setup from his Beta Montecarlo, so this is what I've been working with. I've used the old Lada Caliper carriers and refabricated them into a suitable mount so the Compbrake Beta backets can be used for their original purpose.
I was told by the people at Compbrake that these B4 calipers have a tendancy to be a little noisey due to pad chatter, I may thefore yet upgrade to the B7 caliper which runs a 75mm pad and a spring loaded Cloverleaf pad reatainer. This is why I've left designed in extra clearence between the Bell and caliper.
Pads are American Hawk Pro race 4 which are a track pad which is designed for minimal road use.

Scroll down the page to the Suspension section and the kit is described and pictured there.
We're using the 500 calipers, pads and rotors with a steel bracket to adapt it to the 124 Spider spindle. Calipers are available
in either red or black powder coat. The kit includes steel braided hoses, mounting hardware and instructions. I'll soon be listing
optional upgrades to EBC dimpled rotors and EBC disc pads. We have the upgrades available, I just haven't priced them yet.
Personally, I don't see a need for the upgrades for street use. The braking performance is improved so much with the base kit that I'd suggest the upgrades only for an all-out track car.
