Hello

I have installed EDIS ignition in my twin cam engine. Everything works OK, apart from tachometer. I have tried many different solutions, but with no success. I decided to go for external tacho. Does anybody know a producer of tachos, that will work for sure with EDIS system?

Try using 11 pin from EDIS module as for the tacho signal

It may be possible to run your tacho off the EDIS coil by taking the pulse off both coil low tension wires. you need to fit some diodes so to stop current to one coil also firing the other one. Diodes are just acting as one way valves for the electricity.
