Accepted practice for steering wheel switches?

Post by chrislandy »

What it the accepted way of connecting any switches/lights mounted directly to a momo steering wheel back into the dash loom? I'm guessing multi core spiralled cable with a AS type connector on the steering wheel as it's a removable but is this the way it's done?

reason for doing it? I have engine ecu based traction & launch control and I want to have the traction %, on/off, wet/dry and launch switches on the wheel rather than on the dash somewhere I can't reach or see.

Thanks
Chris
