Hi all,
I've got a Turbo Heat Jacket to fit when I get the car back, and it is fitted with 2 loops for securing it. Should I use stainless steel lock wire, or could I use stainless steel tie wraps to pull the fastening loops together?
I'm a bit loathed to spend ~£20 for a roll of lock wire when all I need is about 3" of the stuff.
So I was wondering if steel tie wraps be a suitable alternative to the lock wire?
I can post a pic of the jacket should it be required
Thanks,
Ant

Re: Should I use lock wire?
I'd strap it up Ant, under conditions of heat and vibration, lockwire cuts thru things.
