I believe that is an 1800 (1756) head - I have seen it on a Lancia Beta motor of that capacity, but couldn't swear for sure it was original stock.

It is an 1800 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth Rallye (or CSA) 8v head . The same version was aslo fitted to Lancia Beta Abarth.

Sandro, yes, it will fit,

and yes, Achilleas is absolutely right, he sent me such a head to prep, 42/36mm valves, early combustion chamber shape, big ports - 35mm approx.

In the process of converting Achy's TC head as above to big valves, later work included opening up the chamber to improve flows.

Sorry to drag out an old thread. But I have just dug out an old head I had stored away and it is from this same casting - 4301155

The head id numbers are - FF, 4301155, V6, S62.

Does anyone know if this has the same specs as the 1800 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth Rallye (or CSA) 8v head, as mentioned on this thread? Or is it a variation?

Any help would be great.

regards

No offence to the members who posted here yesterday and had their post deleted. It does say this in the headline for GC Q&A.
