Weber 40 DCNF on Montecarlo - Fitting vacuum gauge

I am planning to fit a vacuum gauge to my Series 2 Montecarlo. Twin 40 DCNF's are fitted with Aqualati manifold.
My plan was to remove and tap the inlet manifold.
Did some research on 'web' to find that 40 DCNF's fitted to Ford XR2 seemed to have vacuum fitments [4 No] already available.
Picture attached showing this.

Does anyone have any information on whether this is a 'special' fitment or not please?

hi
I can confirm those vacuum taps on the 36DCNF's that were fitted OE to the Simca engines in their higher specs (Simca / Talbot / Matra / Chrysler Europe).
The works workshop handbook is quite comprehensive on their use and seems to have been copied directly from Weber documentation.

Sure, don't worry.
I'll need a couple of days though: this stuff is all 1970's books (remember books? a bunch of printed out pdf's with a cover around them). I'm not keen on cutting up my cherished originals for ease of scanning.
Complication 2: it's either in Dutch or in French. Sorry.

Appreciate any information you can supply. Do not expect you to cut up your originals at all.
I did not learn any Dutch when I worked with Shell at Moerdijk. Everyone spoke such good English.
Can cope with some French though.
