Cylinder head gasket comparison

Post by Biancorally »

Hi Guy,

here are two engine cylinder head gasket for TC engines, one original and one I do not really know. The first seal is missing a hole on the water pump side, and smaller holes on the opposite side as you can see from the pictures.

Is it advisable to use this first seal?

Regards

The top gasket is strictly for a reversed port unit. You can see that the coolant holes are (if offered up to the 8v 131 type head) in the wrong orientation - the larger holes should be on the ex side.

Don't know about the lower gasket can I have a photo of the whole thing?

Thank you very much for your help.
I only wanted to know if this first head gasket could be useful to the 130TC. That is not the case!

The lower have to be a stock one, with a thickness of about 2 mm and a bore of 85mm.

Many thanks for the look

Regards

Daniel
