Flow figures 28" vs 10"

Post by Abarthnorway - Remi L »

Hi Guy!

I am currently reading an article of DCOE flow figures recorded at 28" depression.

Is there a way to calculate these figures into their 10" equivalent??

Thank You!

Best regards

I sold my Flowbench and manual Remi but if you write to Martyn Sweet who bought it (below) he will no doubt tell you,

hi Remi,

Flow goes up with the 2nd power of depression, so conversion from 28" to 10" would be Root of (10/28) = 0,598
In a spreadsheet you do something like =SQRT(want/have) , where 'want' and 'have' are the depressions you're converting between.

See attached sheet.
