Taking a Volumex crank pulley apart

Post by tmvolumex »

Guy,
There is a picture on your site, of a VX crank pulley fixtured up in your shop on a press, so that the vee belt drive pulley could be removed from the inner portion of the crank pulley. Were you able to do this without damaging the vee belt portion? Did you have to use heat from a torch on the vee belt pulley section to overcome the press fit?
Thanks
