I couldn't see a natural folder for this topic. Guy, please feel free to move (didnt seem to fit within your Q&A guidelines).
1st post on here for some years and I am now a paid up member. This forum has an incredible archive of information, but the built in search and its not great. Has anyone got any tips?
For example, searching for terms like 'integrale' and 'camshaft' are too common and no results are displayed.
This workaround that may be of help to some members.. my intention isn't to teach anyone to suck eggs, but it seems to work well !
Google has the ability to return site specific results (obviously you can search on one term if needed):
For example, search results that include "camshaft" and "integrale":
Type the following into Google search (including the word 'site')... site:http://www.guy-croft.com "camshaft" "integrale"
Or for search results that include "camshaft" or "integrale":
Type the following into Google search (including the word 'site')... site:http://www.guy-croft.com camshaft integrale
Hope this helps.

You're right and this is a good workaround. I've been doing this myself. Actually I think this is good feedback to James who posted a question to give feedback on the design of this website http://guy-croft.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3503
