Radtec Racing Radiators Ltd

Post by Simon »

If you are after a nicely made lightweight radiator for your project then you might want to check out Radtec based in Tamworth. They have just supplied one for my 124 Spider, which I was pleasantly surprised to see they had listed in their standard applications.

Their sister site for classic car applications, including the 124 Spider:

Very very nice indeed. 100% aluminium/alloy and nice welding joints.

Shame I don't see any listed for Alfa Romeo. Mind you the shipping cost would be rather off putting.
And a bespoke made rad would cost 2 arms and a leg but nice workmanship indeed. Certainly worth it if you are racing.

Hi Simon

I have purchased one of these for my rally Spider project. I can confirm that while not cheap the workmanship is first class. I also have a high flow fan fitted. The fan is slightly thinner than standard, so gives a bit more clearance. ( May be useful in some applications.

ah Tamworth is just down the road from my folks house.
Not sure if I'd get one in my suitcase when I visit them next time in Lichfield though.

Really nice workmanship but yes at a cost. You get what you pay for is very true.
